Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer Financial Aid?

Kidsborough participates in the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care Financial Assistance Program as a voucher provider. Please contact your local Childcare Resource & Referral Agency for more information.

For our Canton program, contact PACE.

All other programs contact Seven HIlls.

Kidsborough is an approved provider in the Child Care Aware fee assistance program for eligible military families.

Kidsborough also offers limited Financial Aid in the form of reduced tuition or payment plans to families that meet eligibility requirements. Please refer to our Financial Aid page for more information.

Is my deposit refundable?

Kidsborough collects a deposit for each child enrolled in our school year program, as well as our summer program. Amounts collected and how they are applied to tuition vary slightly by location. Please ask your site coordinator for more details.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Any reduction in schedule results in the forfeiture of that portion of your deposit.

How does Kidsborough handle schedule changes?

With our staffing requirements and commitments, children are enrolled at Kidsborough with a set schedule. Families whose schedules may change on a rotating basis will need to choose a schedule that best meets their needs. If circumstances require a permanent schedule change, we are happy to accommodate a long term change provided staffing is in place to support that change. Repeated changes throughout the month or year cannot be accommodated.

Part-time families can add days here and there as needed and as available for a daily fee. Families with frequent need will be asked to make a permanent addition to their schedule.

Do you offer care for just one day per week?

We have a minimum two day per week schedule requirement. This ensures the quality of our program for all the children in our care.

Are snow days and other non-school days part of tuition?

Tuition covers the 180 day school year. Non-school days are available as needed for an additional fee.

Snow Days are considered non-school days. Please refer to our Snow Day policy for further information where you will also find information about delayed starts and early dismissals due to weather.

My child is sick today, can I make it up another day this week?

If staffing and space allow, you may request to add your child to another day for the applicable fee. We do not transfer care to another day.

We will be out of the country for a month. Can we put our enrollment on hold?

Departing the program midyear may forfeit your spot and may forfeit your deposit. Please refer to our deposit agreement for more information.
