As the Partner \u2013 Not-for-Profit Services, Jayne serves as advisor to a wide range of non-profit organizations, from social service programs with federal and state funding, to community foundations funded solely though donor contributions, to labor unions and other membership organizations. She is responsible for providing a full range of services which include planning and conducting Single Audits, financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for not-for-profit organizations. Jayne also provides non-profit tax compliance services covering preparation of both Federal and state information returns. In addition, Jayne has extensive experience with helping organizations complete and file their Form 1023 or 1024 application for tax-exempt status. Jayne\u2019s responsibilities include training and development of staff associates, providing in house seminars in the non-profit area and mentoring staff on engagements.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining Anstiss & Co. in 1997, Jayne worked for more than seven years in the accounting department of Laidlaw Environmental Services where she was responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, inventory valuation, and purchasing for the Northeast Facility.<\/p>\n
Annually, Jayne attends the UFR Training & Update, the AICPA Not-for-Profit Industry Conference in Washington, D.C., as well as many other trainings which provide her with the requisite training to perform Single Audits. She is the Treasurer of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance of CHNA 10, Inc. and the former Treasurer of The Brush Art Gallery & Studios, which has further enhanced her experience in all aspects of non-profit organizations.<\/p>\n
